Gordon Fairchild has previously published "A World of Tickets" (1970) and "Railway & Tramway Tickets" (1987), the latter jointly-authored with his longtime friend the late Peter Wootton. From 1997 to 2006 he was principal editor of the international magazine "All Tickets Forum".
